About this Role

We are currently seeking a Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of those experiencing mental health problems.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work with service users to facilitate access and engagement in various socially inclusive activities, develop alliances based on collaboration and mutual respect, and help users gain access to resources such as benefits and welfare rights.

Additionally, you will provide simple psychological interventions under the supervision of an appropriately qualified clinician, attend and participate in team meetings, and develop good working relationships with other organizations that support individuals in achieving their goals.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • GCSE's grade A-C (including Maths and English)
  • NVQ level 4 OR NVQ level 3 plus training to diploma level or equivalent experience

Desirable criteria include training in mental health or social care and previous experience working with people in a mental health or social care setting.

Benefits
