About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen team at beBee Professionals in Brighton, United Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management.
  • Supervise and lead the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation during service.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Take charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene practices.
  • Creativity and passion for cooking with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
  • Leadership and team management skills to inspire and motivate the kitchen team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or higher preferred).
