Business Development Lead

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a pioneering insurance company in the UK, which is rapidly growing and seeks talented professionals like yourself.
In this role as Senior Mid-Market Commercial Underwriter, you will be responsible for creating new business opportunities and managing a portfolio of existing accounts from our Leeds city centre operation.
Your primary goal will be to achieve profitable growth, generate new business, and maintain a loyal customer base while delivering exceptional service standards.
You will focus on building strong relationships with key broker accounts in Yorkshire/North East and developing your negotiation skills to secure deals effectively.
A successful candidate will be highly approachable, confident, and skilled in providing outstanding service both internally and externally, including regular phone calls and face-to-face meetings.
