Service Desk Lead

Experienced IT Professionals are sought after to pioneer the development of a high-performing service desk within a 4000-user retail company.
This opportunity allows an ambitious and technically skilled individual to take charge of building and leading a team, including field engineers responsible for sites across the UK.
The ideal candidate will oversee team performance, ensuring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met or exceeded. They will also deliver services aligned with ITIL principles.
A key aspect of this role is aligning service expectations with stakeholders to meet business needs. The successful candidate will have experience in conducting performance reviews with IT providers and identifying trends in calls to reduce reliance on external support.
Additionally, they will be responsible for managing major incidents, problem resolution, and providing support for incident management and escalations.
The salary for this position is estimated at £45-55k depending on experience, and it is a full-time, on-site role.
