Glos is currently hiring a skilled Purchase Ledger Controller to manage various aspects of the company's financial operations.

About the Job:

  • This position involves overseeing the administration of three separate purchase ledgers managed within one accounting system.
  • The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail are essential, with the ability to self-manage on a day-to-day basis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, is mandatory.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support the Purchase Ledger Administrator with management of Smartmail exceptions mailbox.
  2. Assist the Purchase Ledger Administrator with management of Sharepoint Inv_Queries folder, ensuring clear and frequent communications with sites to resolve items as quickly as possible.
  3. Take responsibility for closing the purchase ledger and completing all Period End tasks associated with this task.
  4. Compile and post journals in purchase ledger to write off penny balances.
  5. Undertake to code non-PO invoice and/or credit note documents in eBis for site STROUD as and when appear in job queue.
  6. Manage as needed any rejected non-PO invoice and/or credit note documents in eBis.
