Job Description:
Purchase Ledger Controller at Glos:

This role is responsible for the accurate administration of purchase ledger and certain office functions within required timescales. The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, be confident in time management and prioritization, and have advanced Excel skills.

The Purchase Ledger Controller oversees daily work of the Purchase Ledger Administrator role, manages the Purchase Ledger mailbox, and supports handling the Purchase Ledger telephone line. Responsibilities include managing the Purchase Ledger mailbox on a daily basis, supporting the Purchase Ledger Administrator with handling the Purchase Ledger telephone line, reviewing supplier portals, ensuring newly issued documents are processed as necessary, maintaining a list of suppliers who advise being on credit stop, rectifying causes swiftly, overseeing reconciliation of monthly supplier statements to Open Accounts, and compiling and posting journals in purchase ledger to write off penny balances.

Key Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident in Time Management and Prioritisation
- Advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of Open Accounts is an advantage

Salary Information: Salary dependent upon experience, estimated around £25,000 - £35,000 per year.
