Children's Residential Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team at an established leading provider of residential care for children and young people.
This is a permanent full-time role, working on a shift pattern of 2 days on and 4 off, including sleep-in shifts. If you have a passion for making a difference to the lives of young people, we would love to hear from you.
About the Role- Actively safeguard and promote the welfare of the young people in our care.
- Support with tasks such as quality assurance and regulatory visits to ensure compliance.
- Continuously assess the needs of the young people and develop strategies to meet their day-to-day requirements.
- Take responsibility for the efficient and effective running of the shifts, ensuring a smooth operation.
- Plan and facilitate activities, tasks, and health and safety checks to maintain a safe environment.
- Direct practical interactions with children and young people, including play, activities, cooking, personal care, engaging with the wider community, and supporting educational and health needs.
- NVQ Level 3 Children's Residential or NVQ Level 3/4 Children, Young People & Family Practitioner (essential).
- UK Driving Licence for travel to designated locations.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience working with children and young people, with a proven track record of providing excellent support.
- The ability to identify the needs of young people and work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Paying up to £28,500 per annum, depending on experience.
- A salary increase of £500 upon completion of probation.
- An additional £500 salary increase per year for every 1 year of service after passing your probation.
- A £200 refer a friend scheme, rewarding successful referrals.
- A £60 sleep-in shift rate, ensuring fair compensation.
- 224 hours holiday allowance and additional leave increments after 1 year's service.
