Senior Children's Residential Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Children's Residential Support Worker to join Standby Healthcare Ltd at an established leading provider of residential care for children and young people.

This is a permanent full-time role, working on a shift pattern of 2 days on and 4 off, including sleep-in shifts. If you are passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people, we would love to hear from you.

About the Position
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of the young people in our care.
  • Support with quality assurance and regulatory visits to ensure high standards.
  • Continuously assess and address the day-to-day needs of the children and young people.
  • Effectively manage the running of the shifts to ensure smooth operations.
  • Plan and facilitate activities, tasks, and health and safety checks.
  • Engage in direct practical interactions with children and young people, including play, activities, cooking, personal care, community engagement, educational, and health support.
Key Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 Children's Residential or NVQ Level 3/4 Children, Young People & Family Practitioner (essential).
  • A valid UK driving licence.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working with children and young people.
  • The ability to identify the needs of young people and work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.

  • A competitive salary up to £28,500 per annum based on experience.
  • A £500 salary increase upon successful completion of probation.
  • Annual salary increments of £500 for every year of service after passing probation.

Estimated Annual Salary: £25,000-£28,500
