Leading Residential Support Worker Required

We are recruiting for a skilled and compassionate Senior Children's Residential Support Worker to join our dedicated team at Standby Healthcare Ltd, providing top-notch residential care services to children and young people.

This permanent full-time position involves working a shift pattern of 2 days on and 4 off, including sleep-in shifts. If you're passionate about delivering exceptional care and creating positive outcomes for young people, we encourage you to apply.

Role Overview
  • Deliver high-quality support to safeguard and promote the welfare of the young people.
  • Contribute to quality assurance and regulatory visits to uphold excellent standards.
  • Identify and address the day-to-day needs of the children and young people through continuous assessment.
  • Ensure the efficient management of shifts to maintain smooth operations.
  • Develop and implement engaging activities, tasks, and health and safety checks.
  • Engage in meaningful interactions with children and young people, encompassing play, activities, cooking, personal care, community involvement, educational, and health support.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • NVQ Level 3 Children's Residential or NVQ Level 3/4 Children, Young People & Family Practitioner (mandatory).
  • A valid UK driving license.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working with children and young people.
  • The capacity to understand the needs of young people and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Compensation and Benefits
  • A salary up to £28,500 per annum based on experience.
  • A £500 salary increase following the successful completion of probation.
  • Annual salary increments of £500 for each year of service after passing probation.

  • A sleep-in shift rate of £60.
  • 224 hours of holiday allowance and additional leave increments after one year's service.
