Youth Residential Support Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Children's Residential Support Worker to join Standby Healthcare Ltd's team, providing exceptional care services to children and young people in a residential setting.
This permanent full-time position involves working on a shift pattern of 2 days on and 4 off, including sleep-in shifts. If you're committed to delivering high-quality care and supporting the well-being of young people, we encourage you to apply.
Job Description- Provide expert support to safeguard and promote the welfare of the young people in our care.
- Contribute to quality assurance and regulatory visits to ensure high standards of care are maintained.
- Continuously assess and address the day-to-day needs of the children and young people.
- Effectively manage the running of shifts to ensure smooth operations and high-quality care delivery.
- Develop and implement engaging activities, tasks, and health and safety checks.
- Engage in meaningful interactions with children and young people, encompassing play, activities, cooking, personal care, community involvement, educational, and health support.
- NVQ Level 3 Children's Residential or NVQ Level 3/4 Children, Young People & Family Practitioner (essential).
- A valid UK driving license.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience working with children and young people.
- The ability to identify the needs of young people and work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- A competitive salary up to £28,500 per annum based on experience.
- A £500 salary increase upon successful completion of probation.
- Annual salary increments of £500 for every year of service after passing probation.

- A sleep-in shift rate of £60.
- 224 hours of holiday allowance and additional leave increments after one year's service.
- A birthday rewards scheme providing 8 hours off on your special day (in addition to annual leave allowance).
