This role offers a competitive salary of £23,000 - £24,000 per year, plus additional payments for sleep-ins (£60 per sleep). A valid full UK Manual Driving Licence is required.

We are looking for someone with prior experience working in children's care home settings and a Level 3 or 4 qualification in Residential Child Care (Children and Young People's Workforce) or be willing to work towards this.

You will be working with a dynamic team to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people.

As a Residential Care Practitioner, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing personalized care plans for each child and young person.
  • Providing emotional support and guidance to help them build resilience and confidence.
  • Managing challenging behavior and de-escalation techniques.
  • Collaborating with other professionals to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports.
