We are looking for a motivated Youth Development Specialist to join our team as a Cover Supervisor at our client secondary schools in Burton. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe and inclusive learning environment, enabling students to thrive academically and socially.

About the Role:

You will be required to supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, maintaining order and productivity while ensuring students' needs are met. Additionally, you will collaborate with teachers to develop engaging lesson plans and activities, fostering a culture of creativity and critical thinking.

  1. Develop and implement strategies to promote student engagement and motivation.
  2. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
  3. Contribute to the development of a comprehensive support plan for students with special needs.
Requirements:
  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience working in education.
  • An understanding of child development principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A competitive salary of £80-£120 per day, dependent on experience, is offered to successful candidates. Please note that a valid DBS check and ability to obtain suitable references are mandatory requirements for this position.
