We are seeking a skilled and experienced leader to join our team as a Senior Residential Care Worker or Team Leader in Burton upon Trent. As a key member of our staff, you will provide leadership and support within our home, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained at all times.

Job Description

This role requires a compassionate and dedicated individual who is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people. The successful candidate will have leadership and management skills, previous experience working in a residential care setting, and a full driving license.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and support to a team of Residential Care Workers.
  • E nsure that the physical, emotional, and social needs of children and young people are met.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, young people, and their families.
  • Responsibility for safeguarding and promoting individual rights, providing good quality care which is free from oppression, and where differences are respected and valued.
  • Act as a role model and mentor to our Residential Support Workers, providing guidance and support as required.
  • Assist the Registered Manager in the implementation of care plans and risk assessments.
  • E nsure that all records and documentation are accurate and up-to-date.
