Reception and Administration Officer

The University of Cambridge is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join the Occupational Health Service team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the Office Manager, medical staff, and nursing staff, enabling efficient and effective service delivery. This role provides a comprehensive reception and telephone service, including welcoming visitors and service users to the department. Responsibilities include maintaining the department's filing and archive systems, handling sensitive medical data, and ensuring patient confidentiality requirements are met. Additionally, you will manage appointments and clinics on the OH online diary systems, assist with administration of various health surveillance programmes, and perform general administration tasks such as organising mail and filing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Office Manager, medical staff, and nursing staff
- Maintain the department's filing and archive systems
- Handle sensitive medical data and ensure patient confidentiality requirements are met
- Manage appointments and clinics on the OH online diary systems
- Assist with administration of various health surveillance programmes

What We Offer:
The successful candidate will have a base salary of approximately £23,000-£25,000 per annum and receive an additional 2.5% supplement to their pay. The role is part-time (22 hours per week), working over three days a week, Monday to Wednesday. Due to the nature of this role, the post holder is required to work on-site for their full contracted hours.
