Front Desk Administrator Position

Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated and organised Front Desk Administrator to provide exceptional patient-focused care to the Theatre Department. Estimated salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
This role involves providing high-quality administrative assistance to the department, supporting the team in achieving goals for Theatres, and ensuring efficient patient flow through theatre.
Main Responsibilities:- Reception Service: Provide a friendly and comprehensive reception service to all patients and staff visiting the department.
- Complaints and Situations: Forward any complaints or complex situations to the Theatre Manager, Team Leader, or daily Theatre Co-ordinator.
- Theatre Lists: Collate and distribute theatre lists effectively, liaising with secretaries and other administration staff.

Requirements:- Qualifications: 5 GCSEs or equivalent grades 1-C (including English and Maths), European Computer Driving License (ECDL) or equivalent qualification or experience, Level 3 Vocational Course in Administration or Customer Service or equivalent qualification or experience in both areas, RSA III typing or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience of using Microsoft Office applications, knowledge of secretarial or administrative procedures and systems, previous experience of working in an office environment, previous experience in minute taking, audio typing, and working in the NHS.
