The University of Cambridge seeks an experienced Administrative Support Officer to join their Occupational Health Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Office Manager, medical staff, and nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the department's filing and archive systems for accessing medical records
  • Handle sensitive medical data and understand patient confidentiality requirements
  • Manage appointments and clinics on the OH online diary systems
  • Assist with administration of various health surveillance programmes
  • Perform general administration tasks such as organising mail and filing

The role is part-time (22 hours per week), working over three days a week, Monday to Wednesday. Due to the nature of this role, the post holder is required to work on-site for their full contracted hours. The base salary for this position is £18,000 - £20,000 per annum, with an additional 2.5% supplement to their pay.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team. They should have excellent organisational, communication, and administrative skills, including experience using Microsoft Office programmes.
