About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Administrative Support Officer to support our HR team. The successful candidate will have previous experience in an administrative role, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong IT proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing Recruitment and Onboarding: Oversee the entire recruitment and onboarding process to ensure seamless integration of new employees.
  • Ensuring Accuracy and Compliance in Personnel Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Supporting the Wider HR Team and Key Initiatives: Collaborate with the Head of People, EDI Manager, and wider HR team to drive key initiatives and projects.
  • Providing Key Support for Employees and Line Managers: Offer exceptional administrative support to employees and line managers across the Business School.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience in an Administrative Role: A minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative role.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build strong relationships with employees, line managers, and stakeholders.
  • Strong IT Proficiency: Proficient in using HR software and other digital tools.
  • Experience in Minute-Taking: Ability to take accurate minutes during meetings.
  • Exceptional Organisational Skills: Proven ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Effective Time Management: Ability to manage a diverse and evolving workload.
