Job Title: Legal Secretary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced legal secretary to join a reputable legal firm.

This permanent role can be full-time or part-time, offering excellent benefits and a salary of £23,000 - £23,500 per annum.

About the Role:
  • Manage client appointments and maintain appointment diaries for court and office schedules.
  • Audit and copy typing for legal documents.
  • Handle incoming queries via phone and in person to address straightforward matters.
  • Filing, photocopying, and scanning documents accurately and efficiently.
  • Submit and administer claims through the online claims portal.
  • Organise incoming mail and ensure it is assigned to files.
  • Assist fee earners with case file management, ensuring deadlines are met.
Requirements:
  1. Prior experience as a legal secretary, legal administrator, legal assistant, or similar role.
  2. A minimum of 1 year of experience.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications, including claims portals.
  4. Strong typing skills with accuracy and speed.
  5. Knowledge of document and case management systems.
