An experienced Legal Secretary is required to provide administrative and secretarial support to fee earners in a reputable legal firm.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Managing client appointments, maintaining appointment diaries for court and office schedules.
  2. Audio and copy typing for legal documents with high accuracy.
  3. Handling incoming queries via phone and in person to address straightforward matters efficiently.
  4. Filing, photocopying, and scanning documents accurately and reliably.
  5. Submitting and administering claims through the online claims portal with precision.
  6. Organising incoming mail and ensuring it is assigned to files promptly.
  7. Assisting fee earners with case file management, ensuring deadlines are met with reliability.
Requirements:
  1. Prior experience as a Legal Secretary, Legal Administrator, or similar role is essential.
  2. At least 1 year of relevant experience is required.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications, including claims portals, is necessary.
  4. Strong typing skills with accuracy and speed are essential.
  5. Knowledge of document and case management systems is beneficial.

The salary for this role is estimated at £23,000 - £23,500 per annum, depending on experience.
