Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for handling the full daily accounting function which will include client liaison with landlords, tenants, and service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable and receivable in a timely manner to ensure accurate invoicing and payment.
  • Reconcile all business accounts to ensure our records match up and no transaction gets lost.
  • Manage financial data entry into computer software to ensure all bills and invoices are filed correctly.
  • Maintain communication with vendors for accounts payable and follow up as needed to ensure bills are paid on time.
  • Assist the real estate team or other staff accountants with additional accounting duties as needed.
  • Payroll administration includes paying employees and managing employee benefits.

Requirements:

  1. A degree in finance or a related field.
  2. Solid experience in personally handling the full bookkeeping function for a small to medium-sized organisation.
  3. A team player who is happy to help out colleagues when required.
  4. Sound financial knowledge and the ability to complete all tasks independently.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £33,500 per annum, plus the use of a company vehicle as needed. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive team environment, offering opportunities for growth and development.
