Expanding modern SA1 Waterfront based company seeks an experienced and conscientious administrator with an eye for detail to work with and provide cover for the director’s PA to ensure the smooth day to day running of the business.

This largely office-based position is a supporting role reporting to the company director and covers many varied tasks so the ability to be flexible and work on your own initiative is vital. Some out of office work is occasionally required but is local to SA1 and within walking distance from the office. Experience of accounts, payroll preparation and HR would be an advantage but you do need to be confident when dealing with suppliers, contractors and staff. You must be fully computer literate and proficient in MS Office and have a professional, positive, and mature demeanour. This job can be full time or part time initially but minimum 3 days/week is required. Hours are flexible but the office is open 8am to 6pm weekdays.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- HR support and record keeping (payroll preparation, attendance, holidays, recruitment etc), sitting in on meetings and note-taking
- Accounts support, reconciliations, VAT records and invoice payment/management
- Ordering and management of office supplies
- Liaison with building management and internal maintenance team/contractors for ongoing maintenance/repairs in office and for additional properties
- Maintaining health & safety records/arranging training/ensuring compliance
- Occasional one-off projects/assisting other departments.
