Job Description

We are looking for a Help Desk Analyst to join our IT department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our staff and students, working closely with our IT teams to identify and resolve technical issues.

About the Job

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT and excellent communication skills. They will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks effectively and meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide technical support to staff and students via phone, email, and in-person.
  2. Collaborate with our IT teams to resolve technical issues and improve our services.
  3. Contribute to the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
  4. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong understanding of IT concepts and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £24,285 - £25,335 per annum, plus benefits including 35 days annual leave, 8 bank holidays, access to a local government pension scheme, and more.
