Part-time Community Liaison Officer

We are seeking a dedicated Part-time Visitor Centre Assistant to join our team at Deafblind Scotland. As a Guide Communicator, you will empower vulnerable adults to lead fulfilling lives. Your key tasks will include acting on behalf of the deafblind individual, attending meetings, and collaborating with a team to provide exceptional services.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Making phone calls, writing letters, or completing forms on behalf of the deafblind person.
- Attending meetings with deafblind individuals, operations managers, and funding agencies.
- Collaborating with a team to deliver high-quality services.
- Maintaining accurate record-keeping.
- Evaluating and managing risk.
- Working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Requirements and Benefits:
This role requires the completion of mandatory training within 1 year and possession of a full driving licence. You will also enjoy 29 days annual leave (pro-rata for part-time), inclusive of 8 statutory days.
