Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Community Protection Officer to join our team on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the effective delivery of Community Safety services in East Dunbartonshire. As a Community Protection Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing parking restrictions and addressing environmental issues such as dog fouling, litter, and smoking.

You will also investigate and resolve antisocial behaviour issues, including night noise complaints and community safety concerns. In addition, you will work in partnership with local communities, building relationships with the public, other services, and local agencies.

To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a culture of teamwork and flexibility. You should possess sound general education, including numerical and literacy skills, and hold a full current driving licence.
