About the Job

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Emergency Department Receptionist to join our team. As a key point of contact for patients and their families, you will provide a warm and welcoming service, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.

Main Duties
  • Provide an efficient and comprehensive reception service, greeting patients, public, and visitors as they arrive into the emergency department.
  • Deal with enquiries promptly, taking action as necessary and directing patients/relatives/carers accordingly.
  • Maintain systems and processes to ensure that patient information/data is available at the right time, that it is in the right place, and that it is complete and accurate according to the agreed quality standard.
Person Specification
  • Previous office experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Salary Range

£24,000 - £28,000 per annum.
