Do you want to make a difference in people's lives? As a Healthcare Reception Services Specialist at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and administrative support in our Accident and Emergency department.

Your main responsibilities will include providing administrative support to the emergency department, including booking patients and paramedics, dealing with telephone and face-to-face enquiries, and maintaining accurate patient records.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that patient information is accurately recorded and relevant documentation is created to support safe patient care. They will also be required to deal with enquiries promptly and direct patients/relatives/carers accordingly.

We are offering a competitive salary of £24,000-£27,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be dedicated and courteous, and must be able to deal with sensitive and confidential issues in line with GDPR.

This is a permanent full-time position working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with various shift patterns available. You will have a 2-week rolling rota enabling you to plan your personal time in advance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients, relatives, friends, and other healthcare professionals in a polite, friendly, and professional manner.
  • Ensure accurate patient records and relevant documentation.
  • Deal with enquiries promptly and direct patients/relatives/carers accordingly.
