Job Title: Recreational Activities Facilitator

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a skilled Recreational Activities Facilitator to lead and manage recreational activities for service users. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and has a passion for promoting physical activity and mental well-being.

About the Role

In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver recreational activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of service users. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to create engaging and inclusive programs that promote social interaction, emotional well-being, and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and lead recreational activities for service users.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of recreational activities and suggest improvements.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to recreational activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of program participation, evaluation, and feedback.
Requirements
  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., recreation, leisure studies, psychology).
  • Experience in program coordination or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of sports/exercise environments/classes.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £22,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
