Band 8a Lead Practice Education Facilitator (PEF), 6 month acting up position:
We are delighted to offer an existing band 7 from the Learning and Development teams, an opportunity for your development and for senior leadership support to the PEF Team.

This will be at band 8a in a 6 month acting up post, to care, appreciate and inspire our Clinical Workforce Transformation team.

The lead will continue to embed educational governance processes and systems to support assurance. You will be required to support close working relationships with the HEIs.

You will demonstrate a value that is just and enables staff to feel psychologically safe.

You will be required to provide professional support to the Director of Learning & Development through the coordination and direct delivery of agreed organisational development and training activities.

Your professional development in terms of transitioning to this role will equally be supported by the Director and the wider L&D teams.

**Main duties of the job**:
To provide professional support to the Principle Educator and Director of Learning & Development through the coordination and direct delivery of agreed organisational development and training activities and programmes to help meet the operational and strategic objectives of the Trust and facilitate its development as a learning organisation.
The nature of the role is such that a high degree of autonomy is required of the post holder as are the self-management skills and personal qualities required to function effectively within the professional team committed to improving services through learning and the development of knowledge and skills. They will lead on the provision of high quality multi-professional learning environments across the organisation and within the undergraduate placement areas across the footprint of all the NCA.
The post holder will be responsible for the day to day management of identified L&OD Facilities across demographic sites and have managerial responsibilities for the Practice education team (PEF) and delivery of key outcomes. The post holder will be a part of the L&D Senior Management Team working alongside the Director L&D

**This vacancy is open to those who have a current NMC PIN to practice as an Registered Nurse or Midwife in the UK, or those who are currently enrolled on a course which means they expect to receive their full NMC PIN within the next 3 months. Please note an NMC PRN PIN is not a full NMC PIN and would not fulfil the essential criteria for this role.**

- Effective interpersonal and intrapersonal skills including high degree of self awareness and self regulation
