Job Title: Development Strategy Lead

We are seeking a talented Development Strategy Lead to drive business performance by enhancing the skills and knowledge of our colleagues. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in identifying, designing, implementing and evaluating training and development initiatives.

The salary for this role is £52,000 - £62,000 per annum, depending on experience. About the Role:

You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive development strategy that enhances performance within retail. This will involve working closely with area & regional managers to improve team KPI delivery, identify trends, and work in partnership to improve areas of concern through effective individual and team development activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive development strategy that enhances performance within retail.
  • Scope, design and deliver performance-focused development sessions and coaching activity to retail audiences.
  • Conduct follow-up activity to ensure impact after development interventions.
  • Role-model a growth mindset throughout the business by staying up to date with current theory within Learning & Development and adult learning.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
  • Competency in individual and group coaching skills and techniques.
  • High quality, passionate and inclusive learning facilitation skills that create an exciting environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering learning activity which is focused on performance development and aligned to business objectives.
  • Strong commercial mindset with ability to analyse data to inform further development needs.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent computer literacy skills, including MS Office.
