Financial Reporting Professional Opportunity

This exceptional opportunity offers a competitive salary package of up to £50,000, including 26 days' annual leave, 6% pension contribution, private medical insurance, critical illness cover, income protection, dental insurance, and more.
Key duties include:
- Creating comprehensive monthly management accounts, comprising profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and detailed commentary.
- Developing and maintaining monthly KPIs that support management accounts.
- Coordinating accruals and prepayments schedules to ensure timely validation and sign-off of accrued income.
- Validating and analyzing profit and loss accounts, addressing stakeholder concerns, and collaborating with colleagues to investigate variances in revenue and expenditure compared to budgets, forecasts, and previous year's results.
- Facilitating communication between finance departments to guarantee accurate management accounts.
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations, accompanied by supporting commentary for review by senior management and finance leaders.
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE certification.
- Experience with IFRS, CASS, and UK GAAP.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel.
- Familiarity with broad accounting functions, including business and financial reporting.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
