About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Events Professional to join our dynamic team. As Conference and Events Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business and retention of existing accounts for our venue. Your primary objective will be to raise the profile of LHR with existing and new clients, working closely with our Sales teams to develop and implement a strategic sales plan.

In this role, you will support the Head of Events and Sales, as well as the Event team members, through effective communication and implementation of processes resulting in a strong, effective, and sales-focused team. You will manage the Conference + Event proposal procedure with venue clients, ensuring commercially sound, competitive, and profitable financial deals for the benefit of both parties involved, while meeting customer requirements and expectations.

Requirements:
  1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in the Conferencing/hospitality/catering or food service industry (essential)
  2. Previous hospitality, sales, and account management experience required
  3. Familiarity with Food and Beverage trends, industry awareness
  4. Excellent verbal and communication skills
  5. Good listening skills and attention to detail
  6. Commercial awareness
  7. High level of resilience and ability to work well under pressure
  8. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to flourish in a competitive industry
  9. A great sense of self-motivation, ambition, and determination
  10. Ability to achieve desired results both individually and as part of a team
  11. Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  12. Good self-management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  13. Computer literate and confident in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook

The successful candidate will have a competitive salary of £42,000, alongside company benefits and career progression opportunities.
