We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Executive to join our team at Clarion Events. As a key member of our sales department, you will play a major role in driving revenue and growing our events.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have previous sales experience within a commercial role and a proven track record of achieving targets. Experience of live events or digital media sales is advantageous, as is proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce.

As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with existing clients and identifying new business opportunities. You will work closely with our marketing, content, and operations teams to develop tailored solutions and become fluent in the world of digital marketing, AI, logistics, payments, search, CX, AR, sustainability, and re-platforming.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business and upsell opportunities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and lead generation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop targeted sales strategies and campaigns
  • Utilize CRM software to manage leads, contacts, and sales pipeline
Requirements
  • Previous sales experience within a commercial role
  • Experience of live events or digital media sales (advantageous)
  • Proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
