Event Sales Professional

Handle Recruitment is seeking an experienced delegate sales professional to join an international publisher with a well-established Events stream of business. This role is perfect for a candidate with experience in delegate sales, available for a temporary opportunity with a prestigious brand.
About the Role
We are currently looking for someone who can host great events, which means getting the word out there and encouraging clients to buy tickets, register their attendance, and provide all necessary details.
The responsibilities include direct selling and event registration over the phone with existing and new clients, building relationships, upgrading registered delegates to VIP status, finding new VIPS, hitting and exceeding set KPIs, recording accurate information, and keeping data safe and secure.
What You'll Need
- Immediate availability to start
- Experience in sponsorship or event sales
- Strong research skills with lead research via LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Pipeline management and logging leads on Salesforce
- Communication with senior decision makers in a corporate environment
- Confidence in hitting and exceeding KPIs in a fast-paced environment
- Organisation skills, attention to detail, and working knowledge of Excel and Word
This is a hybrid working position in the office two/three days a week, with an ASAP start on a rolling contract. The pay rate is up to £14.50 per hour.
