Marketplace Consultant

As a Marketplace Consultant at Amazon UK Services Ltd., you will play a crucial role in supporting our third-party sellers to drive their business growth and program satisfaction. Your core responsibility will be to work closely with sellers to develop a jointly aligned roadmap, identifying opportunities for their Amazon account and providing strategic consultancy using a data-driven, collaborative, and customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage a portfolio of 10-12 sellers, developing individual strategies, managing timelines, expectations, and owning communications.
• Run business analyses, producing business recommendations and actionable insights using a wide set of analytical tools to interpret customer data.
• Provide consultancy, leveraging comprehensive Amazon knowledge to understand seller needs and leveraging our solutions for their priorities.
• Support execution and operational troubleshooting, guiding the execution of strategic plans, answering ad-hoc questions, and helping overcome operational and subject-specific challenges.
• Build relationships, gaining the trust of each managed seller through close collaboration and delivering results, using trust to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Coach, dedicating time to educate each seller about Amazon's solutions and news to enhance each selling partner's knowledge about selling on Amazon.
• Prepare and present performance deep dives to facilitate a monthly discussion around business progress, current challenges, and strategic plans with your selling partner.
• Become an expert, owning a specific subject within our service organization, supporting peers, inventing processes/tools to the benefit of our internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop specific local requirements to ensure that standardized processes are adapted to the needs of selling partners in this country.
About You
We are looking for a highly analytical and strategic individual with strong presentation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders. You should have a bachelor's degree or equivalent, or experience in sales or marketing work (like e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS) or equivalent. Experience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level, and exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach are preferred qualifications.
