About the Role:

In this pivotal role as HR Generalist, you will be instrumental in driving the success of Touching Hearts at Home. Our ideal candidate possesses a unique blend of skills, experience, and passion for supporting older adults.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies, evaluating and selecting top candidates, and managing the Applicant Tracking System.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a salary range of $62,000-$67,000, vacation, holiday, and sick pay, quarterly bonuses, 401(k) with company match, and affordable healthcare insurance.


Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment Strategy Development: Create and execute targeted recruitment plans to attract top talent
  • Candidate Evaluation: Assess and select qualified candidates for various roles within the organization
  • Applicant Tracking System Management: Maintain accurate records and ensure seamless communication throughout the hiring process
  • Phone Screens and Interviews: Conduct thorough assessments to determine candidate fit and potential for success
  • Hiring Collaboration: Work closely with the Executive Director to make informed hiring decisions
  • Background and Reference Checks: Verify credentials and references for all new hires
  • Employee Onboarding: Provide exceptional support during the transition process to ensure a smooth start
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement programs to enhance employee engagement and retention
  • General HR and Payroll Support: Offer expert assistance to ensure efficient operation of the organization

Requirements:
  1. Passion for Supporting Older Adults: A personal or professional history demonstrating a commitment to serving this population
  2. Recruiting Experience: Proven track record in recruiting, applicant selection, and interviewing processes
  3. Office Support Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and ADP software
  4. Valid Driver's License: Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable insured vehicle access
