Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Musculo-Skeletal Physiotherapist to join our team at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team, providing high-quality care to children with musculo-skeletal conditions.

Main Responsibilities

As a Paediatric Musculo-Skeletal Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating children with a range of musculo-skeletal conditions, including orthopaedic and neurological disorders. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised treatment plans, and provide education and support to children and their families.

You will also be involved in clinical leadership and supervision, supporting the development of junior colleagues and students. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership skills and contribute to the growth and development of our team.

About the Role

This is a fixed-term part-time position, covering maternity leave for six months. You will be working across multiple sites, providing a range of services to children and families. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, and contribute to the development of regional pathways and service improvement initiatives.

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced physiotherapist with a strong background in paediatric musculo-skeletal physiotherapy. You will have a degree or diploma in physiotherapy, and be registered with the Health Professions Council. You will also have significant post-qualification experience, with a minimum of two years at Band 6 level.

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and other healthcare professionals. You will also have a strong commitment to ongoing professional development, and be able to demonstrate your ability to contribute to the growth and development of our team.
