Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric MSK Physiotherapist to join our team as a Band 7 clinical leader. This is a fixed-term, part-time role to cover maternity leave, working 15 hours per week across multiple sites.
Main Responsibilities
As a Paediatric MSK Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for supporting the supervision and line management of students, developing their skills in paediatric assessment and management within MSK. You will also work closely with junior colleagues and peers within the adult MSK teams to provide clinical leadership and support.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive team environment, alongside experienced MSK clinicians, including advanced practitioners, the Paediatric MSK Clinical Lead, Paediatric Orthopaedic Consultant, and paediatricians within East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. You will be integral to the development of regional pathways and business development initiatives, working closely with the Advanced Practitioner and other clinical leads.
Person Specification
We are looking for a candidate with a Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy, Health Professions Council Registration, and evidence of relevant specialist paediatric MSK postgraduate CPD. You should have significant experience in MSK and Paediatric MSK rehabilitation in primary or secondary care, with a minimum of 2 years' experience at Band 6 level. You should also have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to contribute to effective team working and promote clinical leadership skills.
