Highly Specialised Paediatric Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our team as a Highly Specialised MSK Paediatric Physiotherapist. This is a fixed-term part-time role, covering maternity leave, and will provide an excellent opportunity to work with a supportive team and develop your clinical leadership skills.
Main DutiesAs a Paediatric Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children with musculo-skeletal conditions. You will work closely with our Advanced Practitioner, additional Band 7 specialist physio, and split post Band 6 physio to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
You will also be involved in the supervision and line management of students, supporting junior colleagues and peers within the adult MSK teams, and contributing to the development of regional pathways and business development.

Person SpecificationWe are looking for a candidate with a Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy, Health Professions Council Registration, and evidence of relevant specialist paediatric MSK postgraduate CPD. You should also have significant post-qualification experience in neurology, orthopaedics, and MSK, as well as experience in MSK and Paediatric MSK rehabilitation in primary or secondary care.
As a Paediatric Physiotherapist, you will need to demonstrate high-level clinical assessment, treatment, and clinical reasoning skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should also be able to contribute to team development and training, and demonstrate flexible communication and leadership skills.
