Highly Specialised Paediatric Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Band 7 MSK Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our team. This is a fixed-term part-time, cross-site role to cover maternity leave.
Main Responsibilities:- Support supervision and line management of students to develop skills in paediatric assessment and management within MSK.
- Support junior colleagues and peers within the adult MSK teams on site.
- Work in a supportive team environment alongside experienced MSK clinicians, including advanced practitioners, the Paediatric MSK Clinical Lead, Paediatric Orthopaedic Consultant, and paediatricians within ESHT as required.
- Liaise with other providers of paediatric healthcare in East Sussex, including external services that provide Neurodevelopmental therapy and complex case management.
This role will give you the opportunity to understand the needs of MSK paediatric care across East Sussex, with strong links to the cross Trust Clinical Interest Group in the South East. You will work with the Advanced Practitioner and other clinical leads to develop regional pathways and identify areas for business development.
Person Specification:- Essential:
- Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy.
- Health Professions Council Registration.
- Evidence of relevant specialist paediatric MSK postgraduate CPD, being either Masters Level or equivalent.
- Desirable:
- Postgraduate / higher level learning, such as Masters modules or PG cert's/diplomas in clinical physiotherapy.
