Job Title: Highly Specialised MSK Paediatric Physiotherapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Band 7 MSK Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our team. This is a part-time, cross-site role covering maternity leave for six months. As part of Band 7 clinical leadership, this role will support supervision and line management of students developing skills in paediatric assessment and management within MSK.

Main Duties:

This role will involve working in a supportive team environment alongside experienced MSK clinicians, including Advanced Practitioners, the Paediatric MSK Clinical Lead, Paediatric Orthopaedic Consultant, and paediatricians within ESHT as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting supervision and line management of students in paediatric assessment and management within MSK
  • Contributing to the development of regional pathways and business development in MSK Paediatric care
  • Working with the Advanced Practitioner and other clinical leads to identify areas for business development

Person Specification:

  • Essential:
    • Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy
    • Health Professions Council Registration
    • Evidence of relevant specialist paediatric MSK postgraduate CPD, being either Masters Level or equivalent
  • Desirable:
    • Postgraduate / higher level learning in clinical physiotherapy or working with other healthcare professionals to develop clinical pathways and service
