Key Responsibilities

As a Paediatric Dietitian at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing specialist dietetic services to children and young people with complex nutritional needs
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including MDT clinics, shared care clinics, and acute hospital admissions
  • Developing standardised meal plans and regular liaison with community eating disorder teams
  • Providing expert assessments, treatment, management, and discharge plans for patients
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals, social care teams, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive patient care

You will be expected to work autonomously, using high levels of knowledge, skills, experience, and clinical judgment to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
