Dietitian for Paediatric Care

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Dietitian to join our dynamic Child Health team at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The successful candidate will have significant post-registration experience in child health dietetics and be able to demonstrate a strong clinical judgment, with excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide specialist, evidence-based dietetic services for children and young people with cystic fibrosis.
- To develop and deliver standardized meal plans for patients with eating disorders, working closely with community teams.
- To participate in multidisciplinary meetings, shared care clinics, and MDT clinics, ensuring seamless care coordination.
- To liaise with healthcare professionals, social care teams, and safeguarding departments to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration
- Significant post-registration experience at Band 6 level or above
- Experience in child health dietetics is essential

Location: Royal Preston Hospital, with occasional clinics at Chorley Hospital. The role is based on a permanent contract, with 3 days per week (22 hours). You will be required to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing exceptional care to our patients.
