Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Dietitian to join our Community Nutrition and Dietetics team in Central Lancashire. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional to work with patients requiring home enteral feeding, nutrition support, weight management, and gastroenterology services.

About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing and implementing care plans for patients in various settings. You will also assist in training healthcare professionals and carers, maintain IT systems supporting patient care, and provide expert advice to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessing and implementing care plans for patients in clinic, at home, or in nursing and care homes
  • Providing high-standard assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and specialist advice to patients and carers
  • Developing and promoting a holistic, supportive, and patient-centered service
  • Maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues and partners

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics or equivalent, leading to HCPC registration as a Dietitian
  • Teaching qualification or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of current NHS developments and policies
  • Experience of partnership working, leadership, and clinical teaching
