More about your role

As our Head of Financial Accounts you will be responsible for supervising the financial reporting and control team within the Group, delivering precise and timely financial data to both internal management and external stakeholders. Responsibilities encompass overseeing year-end accounting and control procedures, crafting financial statements, ensuring adherence to statutory obligations, Group finance policies, processes, and controls. Additionally, managing the group's year-end audit process and fostering a culture of ongoing enhancement.

You will be responsible for driving change and proactively leading teams through identification and delivery of change initiatives to enable process efficiencies, control improvements or drive savings in costs.

You will be based from our Preston, Lancashire office on a hybrid basis and will need to be within a commutable distance from this location to be considered for this role.

More about you

You will have experience in leading the delivery of financial accounting and reporting including the production of audited financial statements. You will have exposure in driving substantial change and leading a team through the delivery of change initiatives.

You will be a strong leader who can drive the delivery of others in your team. Ideally you will understand the coding structures, how to process journals and run reports. You will be a fully qualified accounts with either a ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar qualification.
