Our work is well-respected by colleagues across our organisation, with close working links between Dietetics, Speech and Language Therapy and our national award-winning Nutrition Nurse service. We also work closely with our community counterparts, with a focus on seamless and high quality patient care.
You will join a Band 5 rotational programme, providing the opportunity to support dietetic services in a wide range of clinical areas and gaining experience in working alongside Specialist Dietitians and established multidisciplinary teams in areas including Stroke, Head and Neck Oncology, Neurosciences.
This position involves working in a variety of clinical settings including inpatients, outpatients and patient education programmes, such as cardiac rehabilitation. Excellent communication skills and a high standard of personal organisation and time management are essential.
You will gain experience and training in the support of Student Dietitians on placement within our team. You would join a team of over 30 experienced and forward-thinking Dietitians, Dietetic Assistants and Administrative staff. We are committed to the continuing professional development of our team and will provide you with structured competency-based learning and development opportunities as part of your role, including opportunity for service development, group education and clinical audit experience.

number of Trust initiatives available to support staff.

You will be based at the Royal Preston Hospital site within the Adult Dietetics Team and may also be required to work at Chorley and South Ribble Hospital. Opportunities for continuing professional development are available and an established graduate competency framework including a graduate-led peer supervision programme and regular clinical supervision will support your learning.
