We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Dietitian to join our dynamic team at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven individual to make a positive difference in the lives of children.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of pediatricians, nurses, and allied health professionals to provide high-quality dietetic services for children and young people. This role involves delivering general pediatric dietetic sessions, attending CF MDT clinics, and being the lead for inpatient eating disorder admissions.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Deliver specialist dietetic services for children and young people, including those with cystic fibrosis and eating disorders
  • Work collaboratively as part of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Liaise with other healthcare professionals, social care, community, and safeguarding teams to ensure comprehensive support
  • Develop and implement evidence-based meal plans for patients with eating disorders
  • Participate in MDT clinics and shared care clinics with the Manchester CF team
Requirements and Qualifications
  • HCPC registration
  • BDA membership
  • Degree or postgraduate degree in nutrition and dietetics
  • Attainment of validated post-registration training in pediatric dietetics preferably at Masters level
  • Evidence of CPD in relevant areas working towards masters level
