Job Role
The Apprenticeship Training Specialist will be responsible for assessing training needs, developing comprehensive training curricula, and ensuring the effective delivery of training programmes. This role is crucial in supporting the growth and development of our toolmaking workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessing Training Needs: Conduct thorough skills gap analyses within the toolmaking workforce.
- Developing Training Programmes: Design and develop training curricula, programmes, workshops, and materials tailored to the specific needs of toolmaking processes and technologies.
- Compliance: Ensure all training programmes comply with relevant policies, laws, regulations, and audit requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest training methods and techniques, incorporating them into training.
Requirements
- Analytical: Strong analytical skills to assess training needs and evaluate training effectiveness.
- Learning & Development: Strong understanding of learning and development methods, ability to develop and deliver training and assess competence to meet technical professional standards.
- Manual Machining Skills - turning, milling, drilling, and grinding.
