Service Desk Engineer

We are seeking a skilled 1st Line IT Support Service Desk Engineer to join our team in Leeds. As a key member of our service desk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and resolving complex technical issues. The role requires experience with Windows 10/11 troubleshooting, Office 365 Administration, and basic knowledge of networking and backup technologies.
Job OverviewThe successful candidate will have a strong understanding of IT hardware and software, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering top-notch customer service. They will also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for IT support via email, phone, and ticketing systems.
- Accurately log and manage service desk tickets, escalating when necessary.
- Build and configure IT hardware, including Windows laptops, Macs, and mobile devices.
- Provide occasional on-site support to customers as required.
Salary and Benefits:The salary for this role is estimated to be around £24,500 - £29,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including a comprehensive health care and well-being scheme, a pension plan with additional employer contributions, and flexible working options.
