About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Claims Handler to join our Commercial Lines Motor Claims Team at Aviva. As a Claims Handler, you will play a crucial role in supporting our customers and brokers through the journey of making a motor claim.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take the first report of a customer's claim and create bookings with our suppliers to get the customer back on the road
  • Support customers and brokers throughout the claim process, providing updates on repairs or liability
  • Work proactively on claims, building strong relationships with brokers and minimizing the inconvenience to customers' daily lives
  • Juggle multiple tasks at pace and utilize a range of digital systems
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking, and prioritizing responsibilities
  • Team player mentality, with a willingness to learn and help others out
  • Passionate about delivering brilliant customer service, with a high standard of work and a customer-first approach
  • Embrace and support change, with the ability to share ideas and suggestions to improve customers' journeys
  • Thrives undertaking digital & online tasks, with strong I.T skills and prior experience of using software like Microsoft Outlook and Word
What We Offer
  • Starting salary between £23,900 to £27,300 based on a 35 hour week or pro rata up to £31,200 if you prefer a 40 hour week (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
  • Bonus opportunity - 6% of annual salary, actual amount depends on performance and Aviva's
