About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Claims Handler to join our Commercial Lines Motor Claims Team at Aviva. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting our customers and brokers through the journey of making a motor claim.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Take the first report of a customer's claim and create bookings with our suppliers to get the customer back on the road.
- Continue to support the customer for the duration of the claim, arranging provision of replacement vehicles, paying out vehicle settlements, or giving updates on repairs or liability.
- Work proactively on the claim, building strong relationships with brokers, and minimising the inconvenience to our customers' daily lives.
- Juggle multiple tasks at pace and utilise a range of digital systems.

What We Offer
- Starting salary between £23,900 to £27,300 based on a 35 hour week or pro rata up to £31,200 if you prefer a 40 hour week (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
- Bonus opportunity – 6% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's.
- Generous pension scheme - Aviva will contribute up to 14%, depending on what you put in.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and you can choose to buy or sell up to 5 days.
